Rahab, a prostitute who was overlooked, mistreated, marginalized, disenfranchised, deemed unworthy, used, and judged. A life that was marked with regrets, pain, loneliness, shame, fear and disappoinment. An outsider whose life was anything but peaceful was seen by God and included in the lineage of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Rahab reminds us that God looks past our brokenness . Where the worlds deems you unworthy of abundant life, our Father in Heaven looks upon us with eyes of love. Where the world discards what is broken, God redeems it, puts it back together and welcomes us as His own.
