Frank Sinatra boastfully sang "I did it, I did it my way!" In a society that preaches and teaches, "Look at me and look at what I have accomplished, I did it, I did it my way", Jesus calls us to live counter-culturally. During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus commanded us to let our lights shine before men. This isn't so we can say, "I did it, I did it my way", it is to say, "Look at what He has done, I did it His way."
