Growing together.
Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.
In his letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul writes, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
When we think about the future of the Church, our minds often go ahead to the next generation. However, the truth is that our students arenot just the "future" of the Church - they are the Church right now. God is shaping their lives, developing their gifts, and preparing them to make an impact today, not someday far off.
Student ministry is more than just games, lessons, and events. It's about helping young people encounter Jesus in a real way. In the most formative years of their lives, when identity and purpose are often questioned. Student Ministry provides a place where truth is spoken, faith is nurtured, and relationships are formed around Christ. Think about Joseph, David, Mary and Timothy - God used them at a young age to do incredible things. And that's why Student Ministry is vital in the Church; once they realize their age doesn't limit their calling, they begin to live with boldness, courage, and faith that changes the world we live in. It's where seeds of faith are planted; which, when properly nurtured, grow into lifelong devotion. Student Ministry is the place where our youth learn that God's Word is relevant to their struggles and that His Spirit empowers them to stand firm in a culture that attempts to pull them in so many different direction. Student Ministry presents the opportunities for the Church to invest in lives that will carry the message of Jesus Christ into classrooms, workplaces, and communities.
