Sunday Morning Worship

The story of Mary and Martha is so rich. This week, as we look at Mary and Martha, we look at the difference between hosting and hospitality. Martha was so busy trying to meet a perceived expectation, she became a slave to it. Whereas Mary, chose what was better. Instead of busying herself for perfection, she treated Jesus like He was the only person in the world. We live in a dark and broken world where people really just want to be part of community. They are looking for someone who will just sit and eat. No judgment. Just friendship. When we choose hospitality, we make room for the Holy Spirit to move so mission can happen at the table.
