Sunday Morning Worship

If you were reading the story of Joseph for the very first time, one would think that God was setting Joseph aside. We go from dreams to pits, from pits to slavery, from slavery to Potiphar. from Potiphard to being tempted by Potiphar's wife, from temptation to prison. God wasn't setting Joseph aside, He was setting Joseph apart. Everything that happened to Joseph was part of a bigger plan and each phase was a test. In life we are going to experience wmany different tests, whuch are part of a bigger plan that God working together for our good. When we go through the etsts of life we can either sacrifice what is permanent (character, calling future) on the altar of what is passing (fear, anger, resentment).
