Rivers, Not Resevoirs

Ezekiel 47:1-12; John 7:37-39
God never intended for us to be reservoirs, hoarding His blessings behind carefully constructed dams. He designed us to be rivers—constantly receiving from the source and constantly flowing out to bring life wherever we go. Ezekiel's vision shows water flowing from the temple, getting deeper and deeper, bringing life to everything it touches. Jesus promised that from our innermost being would flow rivers of living water. When we view our blessings as meant for others, we position ourselves in the current of God's ongoing provision. The Dead Sea is dead precisely because it only receives and never gives. A river stays fresh because it's always moving, always giving. Where has your life become a stagnant reservoir? Ask God to break through the dam and restore the river of blessing He intended you to be.
