Identity Before Action
Galatians 2:20; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
The church has wrongly taught that if we act holy, we'll become holy. But God's truth is the opposite: our identity in Christ precedes our actions. Paul declared, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." When you've been run over by the grace train, you're a new creation. Your behavior flows from who you are, not the other way around. The love of Christ compels us to live differently—not to earn salvation, but because we've already received it. You don't live for yourself anymore; you live for the One who died and rose for you. Let this truth sink deep: you are His, and that changes everything about how you live.
