The Gift or Revelation

Galatians 1:11-12; Ephesians 2:8-9

Paul emphasizes that the gospel he preached didn't come from human teaching but through direct revelation from Jesus Christ. This distinction matters profoundly—information about God can fill our minds, but revelation from God transforms our hearts. We live in an age where biblical knowledge is abundant, yet spiritual understanding remains rare. You can read countless books, listen to popular preachers, and accumulate facts about Scripture, but until the Holy Spirit illuminates truth personally, it remains merely data. Salvation isn't earned through religious knowledge or good works; it's received through grace. Today, ask God not just to inform your mind but to reveal Himself to your heart. The difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing Jesus personally is the difference between religion and relationship.
