The Question That Changes Everything

Galatians 1:10; Matthew 7:21-23

"Who are you trying to please?" This penetrating question confronts us daily. The Apostle Paul declared he could not be Christ's servant while seeking human approval. Many will stand before God listing their impressive accomplishments, only to hear "I never knew you." The issue isn't our activities but our relationship. God doesn't want our résumé; He wants our heart. Today, examine your motivations. Are you checking boxes to prove your worth, or cultivating intimacy with your Creator? Living for the applause of the crowd leaves us perpetually empty, but living for the audience of One brings profound satisfaction. Christ is not impressed by our performance; He desires our presence.
Reflection: List three things you do regularly. Ask yourself honestly: "Am I doing this to please God or to impress others?"
