Sent out, Not Sheltered In
Titus 3:8; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20
Grace does not lead you to retreat from the world. It sends you back into it with a purpose. Titus 3:8 is a call to those who have believed God to be careful to devote themselves to good works -- not as a means of earning salvation, but as the natural outflow of having received it. Paul's language in 2 Corinthians 5 frames this even more boldly: we are ambassadors of reconciliation. The same grace that found you now moves through you toward others who are still lost in the same foolishness and bondage that once defined you. You did not receive grace to keep it. You received it to extend it. The church does not exist to gather grace. It exists to scatter it.
Reflection: Who in your life is still living in the condition described in Titus 3:3, and how might God be calling you to be a witness of grace to them?
Practical Application: Identify one person outside the church whom you will intentionally pursue this week -- not with an agenda, but with the same kindness God showed you before you were ready to receive it.
