Becoming the Church God Intended

1 Corinthians 16:13-14; Romans 12:1-2

As the church, we're called to be a hospital for the broken, a well of hope for the hopeless, and a community known for trustworthiness. This requires transformation—the renewing of our minds and presenting ourselves as living sacrifices. We cannot fulfill our commitments to our spouses, children, neighbors, and community without Christ at the center. When we try to live the Christian life in our own strength, we fail spectacularly. But when we become clay in the Potter's hands, deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus, we become reliable, faithful people. The world is watching to see if we're different. Today, commit to being a person whose yes means yes—in your marriage, your workplace, your neighborhood. Let your integrity point others to the always-faithful God you serve.
