Grace That Changes your Disposition
Ephesians 2:8-10; Matthew 5:7
Grace is not merely a transaction that settles your debt before God. It is a transforming force that reshapes who you are from the inside out. As the sermon reminds us, you are not simply someone who has been forgiven -- you become someone who forgives. You are not simply someone who received mercy -- you become more merciful. Ephesians 2 makes clear that we are saved by grace through faith, and that we are created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared in advance for us to walk in. Grace changes your direction, yes. But it also changes your disposition. The fruit of grace in your life is a life that looks increasingly like the one who gave it.

Practical Application: Choose one person today toward whom you will deliberately extend grace, mercy, or forgiveness -- not because they have earned it, but because you have been given what you did not earn.
