Love Enters Broken Places

2 Samuel 12:1-14
Nathan's confrontation of David demonstrates that authentic love tells the truth, even when it's difficult. Love doesn't ignore sin or pretend everything is fine—it speaks truth with compassion. God loved David and Bathsheba too much to let their sin define their futures. When Nathan arrived, he didn't come to condemn but to restore. Real love doesn't keep us comfortable in our brokenness; it challenges us toward wholeness. This Christmas, consider who God might be calling you to speak truth to in love, or who He's sent to speak truth into your life. Love is faithful enough to wound when necessary, wise enough to know the right time, and gentle enough to heal. Are you willing to receive correction as an act of divine love?
