Reframing Your Story

2 Corinthians 4:7-18
Paul's resume reads like a disaster: flogged five times, beaten with rods, stoned, shipwrecked, robbed, hungry, cold, and imprisoned. Yet he writes, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed." How? He reframed his story through gratitude's lens. He saw his suffering not as the end, but as carrying "the death of Jesus in our bodies so that the life of Jesus can also be seen." Gratitude helps us see not just what God has done, but what He's doing and will continue to do. It transforms our prisons into palaces of praise. Today, take your hardest circumstance and ask: How might God be using this to display His glory? Living with thanksgiving won't change what surrounds you, but it will always change what's within you.
