Thanksgiving In All Circumstances

Habakkuk 3:17-19; Romans 8:18
Habakkuk's declaration astounds: even if everything fails, "I will rejoice in the Lord." This isn't denial—it's defiant faith. Giving thanks "in all circumstances" doesn't mean thanking God for tragedy, but trusting Him through it. When we're squeezed by trials, what flows out? Apple juice from apples, orange juice from oranges—and from believers? The fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience. Our present sufferings aren't worthy of comparison to the glory that awaits. Thanksgiving reflects not our circumstances but our confidence in God's character. Today, identify one difficult circumstance and practice thanking God—not for the trial, but for His presence in it. Let gratitude become your weapon against despair.
