Love in the Face of Opposition

Luke 6:27-36

Jesus modeled radical love from the cross, praying "Father, forgive them" while being mocked and tortured. This is our calling—to bless those who curse us, to love our enemies, to respond with grace when attacked. Self-righteousness has no place in Christianity; we cannot judge others while harboring our own sin. The world doesn't need more offended Christians spewing hate; it needs witnesses who love people into the kingdom. When persecution comes from family, friends, even church members, our response preaches louder than our words. Will you return insult for insult, or will you demonstrate the transformative power of Christ's love? Remember: you're no better than anyone else—just forgiven, redeemed, and called to reflect the One who first loved you.
