Grace Makes Obedience Possible
Romans 6:1-14; Colossians 2:13-14
Grace isn't permission to keep sinning—it's the power to stop. Through Christ's sacrifice, our certificate of debt has been nailed to the cross. The law pointed out our sinfulness and led us to Jesus, who became our perfect sacrifice. Now, His righteousness becomes our righteousness. We don't obey to earn salvation; we obey because we've been saved. Grace transformed the impossible demand of the law into a possible life of love. Today, thank God that you don't have to be perfect to be accepted. Then ask: How can I live out my gratitude through obedience? Let your actions flow from a heart overwhelmed by grace, not from fear or obligation.
