Treat Others as Image-Bearers

Genesis 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:18-20

Every person you encounter is fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image. That person in the photograph, on the screen, or standing before you is someone's daughter, someone's son—a child of the King of Kings. When we lust, we reduce a divine image-bearer to an object for our consumption. Paul warns that sexual immorality is uniquely destructive because it sins against your own body—God's temple. Lust steals, takes, and thinks only of self. Love gives, honors, and thinks of others. The Ten Commandments boil down to this: love God, love others. We cannot truly love God while objectifying His children. Today, commit to seeing every person through God's eyes—as sacred, valuable, and worthy of respect and dignity.
