Love Beyond Measure

Romans 8:31-39

Paul uses generic terms—length, width, height, depth—because God's love transcends measurement. How wide? Wide enough to reach every person (John 3:16). How long? Nothing can separate us from it (Romans 8:38-39). How deep? Deep enough that Christ descended into death for us (Philippians 2:5-8). How high? High enough to adopt us as God's children (Romans 8:15-17). We cannot comprehend this love intellectually; we must experience it personally. Like explaining the ocean to a child, words fail. You must wade into the waters yourself. This immeasurable love isn't earned by performance or lost through failure. It's unconditional, unending, and unchanging.

Reflection Question: Have you been trying to understand God's love or experience it?
