But God

Titus 3:3-7

Two of the most powerful words in all of Scripture are "but God." They appear at the turning point of our story. Before them, there is guilt, rebellion, and death. After them, there is mercy, renewal, and life. Paul reminds us in Titus 3 that we were once foolish, disobedient, and enslaved -- and those words are not flattering. But God did not wait for us to become worthy. He acted while we were still in our mess. That is the nature of grace. It does not reward the deserving. It rescues the undeserving. "But God" is where your story changes forever.

Reflection: Think about your own "but God" moment. When did grace interrupt your story?

Practical Application: Share your "but God" story with one person this week -- a friend, a family member, or someone who needs to hear that grace is still available.
