Saved for a Purpose

Ephesians 2:8-10

Salvation is not the finish line. It is the starting line. Paul makes this clear in Ephesians 2:10, reminding us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared in advance for us to walk in. Grace does not simply pardon your past. It commissions your future. God did not save you so that you could clutch that gift tightly and drive off into the sunset. He saved you so that you would turn around and keep the line moving. Someone behind you is waiting for the same grace that changed your life. You are the carrier.

Reflection: What good works has God been nudging you toward that you have been putting off?

Practical Application: Identify one specific act of grace you can extend to someone this week -- a word of forgiveness, an act of service, or a conversation about hope.
