Walking Each Other Home

Romans 15:1-2

This world is not the final destination. We are all, as the sermon put it, just walking each other home. That changes how we see the person sitting next to us in the pew, the neighbor struggling down the street, the friend who says they are fine when they are not. The journey of faith is not survival of the fittest. It is a shared pilgrimage toward the same eternal home. We are called to edify — to gather the soil around the roots of one another so that we grow stronger together. Let your life this week be a hand extended to someone still on the road.

Reflection: When Christ returns, what do you hope people will say about how you walked alongside them? What can you do today to begin living that out?
