Heirs of a Living Hope

Titus 3:6-7; Romans 8:16-17

Grace does not simply rescue you from something. It rescues you into something. Paul writes that having been justified by God's grace, we become heirs with the hope of eternal life. An heir does not earn an inheritance -- an heir receives one by virtue of belonging to the family. Romans 8 reinforces this truth, describing how the Spirit testifies that we are children of God and, therefore, heirs of all that God has promised. This is not a distant hope reserved for the end of your life. It is a living, active hope that shapes how you walk through every ordinary and difficult day right now.

Reflection: How would your daily decisions change if you lived with a constant awareness that you are an heir of God?

Practical Application: Identify one situation in your life where fear or scarcity is driving your decisions. Pray over it today as someone who is already an heir of God's abundance.
