Grace Upon Grace

Jeremiah 31:31-34

Throughout the Old Testament, God declared His covenant faithfulness to a people who repeatedly turned their backs on Him. He did not respond with abandonment. He responded with promise. Jeremiah records God pledging to write His law not on stone but on human hearts. This is not a God who keeps score. This is a God who keeps covenant. Every morning you wake up, you are standing inside a promise that God made and God kept. Yesterday's grace carried you to today. Today's grace will carry you to tomorrow. He has never once run short.

Reflection: In what ways have you treated God's grace as something you can exhaust or disqualify yourself from receiving?

Practical Application: Write down three specific moments in your life where God's faithfulness was undeniable. Return to that list whenever doubt begins to creep in.
