Grace That Flows Outward

Matthew 5:13-16; John 13:34-35

Grace was never meant to be a destination. It was always meant to be a thoroughfare. Jesus told His disciples that the world would recognize them not by their theology but by their love. When a person has been genuinely saturated with grace, that grace does not stay contained. It spills into how they speak, how they listen, how they respond when someone falls, and how they welcome those who feel unwelcome. The community around your church is full of people who have been wounded by religion. What they need is not more condemnation. They need to encounter grace with skin on.

Reflection: When people leave a conversation with you, do they feel more seen and valued, or more judged and dismissed?

Practical Application: This week, intentionally extend grace to one person who has been difficult to love. Do not announce it. Simply do it, and notice what God does in your own heart through the act.
