Come to the Altar

Matthew 11:28-30; Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus extends an invitation that never expires: "Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." The altar represents a place of surrender, where we exchange our brokenness for His wholeness, our failures for His grace, our hidden wars for His peace. God doesn't ask you to clean up before you come—He invites you to come as you are and let Him do the transforming work. His arms are open wide, and forgiveness was purchased with precious blood. You don't have to fight alone anymore. Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy; from the ashes, new life is born.

Reflection: What do you need to lay at the altar today?
Take time in prayer to surrender it completely to Jesus and receive His rest.
