The Only Cure
Romans 5:6-11; 1 john 1:9
The cure for our condition isn't found in trying harder, doing more, or achieving perfection. It's found in a Person—Jesus Christ. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. His sacrifice on Calvary wasn't dependent on our performance but on His perfect love. The precious blood of Jesus has wonder-working power to cleanse, restore, and make us whiter than snow. We cannot save ourselves from the body of death, but thanks be to God who delivers us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Today, stop striving and start surrendering. Exchange your heavy yoke of slavery for Christ's easy yoke that fits perfectly.
