Neither Do I Condemn You
Romans 8:1-4
Paul writes that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This is not a small statement. It is the entire weight of the gospel pressed into a single sentence. Jesus did not say to the woman that her sin did not matter. He did not dismiss what she had done. He looked at her fully, knowing everything, and still said, "Neither do I condemn you." Then he called her forward into a new life. Grace is not the erasure of accountability. Grace is the power that makes genuine transformation possible. It does not leave us where it finds us.
Reflection: Do you truly believe that there is no condemnation for you in Christ? What would change in your daily life if you lived as though that were completely true?
