Go In Peace - Carrying Grace Forward

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-20, where Paul describes believers as new creations and as ambassadors of reconciliation, carrying the message of God's grace into the world around them.

Devotional: Jesus spoke two final words to the woman before she left: go in peace. She came in carrying the weight of her past and left carrying the freedom of her future. That is what grace does. It does not simply pardon -- it transforms, restores, and sends. We are not meant to be reservoirs of grace, holding it safely within the walls of the church. We are meant to be rivers of it, carrying what we have received into every street, every neighborhood, every difficult conversation, and every unlikely encounter. The mission field is not far away. It is wherever you will stand tomorrow morning. Go in peace. And take grace with you.

Reflection Questions:
  • How has God's grace transformed your own story in a way that could encourage someone else?
  • Who in your daily life needs to encounter the grace of God through you specifically?
  • What is one step you can take this week to move toward someone who needs to know they have a seat at the table?
