The Living Hope

Romans 8:18-25

Creation groans under sin's weight—we feel it in cancer, division, addiction, and death. C.S. Lewis wrote that if nothing in this world satisfies, we were made for another world. But we don't wait hopelessly. The empty tomb declares that God is making all things new. While the world searches and sings, "Bring me a higher love," believers declare, "We've found Him." His name is Jesus. He is the higher love—wider than our failures, longer than our lifetime, deeper than our shame, higher than our hopes. Until Christ returns, we cling not to wishful thinking but to living hope. The resurrection proves God's promises are trustworthy.
Reflection Question: Are you clinging to the world's temporary comforts or Christ's eternal hope?
